A smallimprint.
Our story
Silvaticus Press was created to give our own books a home. We built the imprint around the kind of publishing we believe in: clear thinking, bold design, and authors who have something real to say.
What began as a way to bring our own work to readers has grown into a small, focused list where every title is chosen and shaped with care. We are a new press, and we mean to stay open to new voices. If you are a budding author looking for a route to market, we would like to hear from you.
Mission
To publish books that leave the reader sharper, surer, and more ready to act.
Imprint values
- Few books, fully edited
- We publish four to six titles a year so that every manuscript gets structural editing, not just a copy-edit and a cover.
- The jacket is the argument
- Design is commissioned before the final draft. A cover should tell you what kind of thinking is inside.
- Authors keep the thread
- No ghostwriting, no committee voice. If a book is worth reading it sounds like one person worked it out.
Submissions
We read every proposal sent to the editorial address. Whether you have a polished manuscript or a strong idea and a few sample chapters, we are happy to look at it.
Alongside careful editing, we offer jacket design, production guidance and a route to larger publishing houses when a title is ready for the next step. Send a one-page pitch, a chapter outline and a sample chapter to editorial@silvaticuspress.com. We reply to everything, though it can take six weeks.
